The 2016 season was heavily contested for all our teams with a mixture of final results.
Unfortunately, our Wednesday XI failed to retain their place in Section A and were demoted to Section B of the Coventry 20/20 competition. The 1st XI also had a tough team facing some extremely competitive teams in Division 6 but losing a number of games to bad weather, only managed to finish 3rd narrowly missing out on promotion. Our 2nd XI played a strong competitive season battling week in week out to finish top of Division 10 East 4 points clear of the competition gaining promotion for the third consecutive season. A number of players have attributed their success to the “strong team spirit” evident in the 2nd XI. Congratulations to everyone that played, supported or played a part in the 2nd XI’s success this year! Onwards and upwards!
